Revoking Tasks From Roles

This topic describes the procedure to remove the assignment of unwanted tasks from roles.

Before you begin this task: You must have the role of a systemAdmin or organizationalAdmin to revoke tasks from roles.


After assigning tasks to roles, if you intend to remove the unwanted tasks from roles, follow the below procedures.

Go to CUSP > My Applications, click (User Manager) and select Roles - Tasks view in the User Manager window.

  1. Select a role in the Roles pane. Corresponding tasks are highlighted in the Tasks pane.
  2. Select the required task, right click it and click Remove from Selected Role(s).
    Unwanted tasks are removed from the role.

    Tip: You can select multiple roles or tasks by holding down the CTRL key.
